Hola Sra. Koch! Somos A5/6. Tenemos dos preguntas para Ud. 1) Estella has asked if everybody says Mexico is so poor, why is Mexico City so huge and popular? 2) Fabio has asked is it illegal to sell pirated DVD's in Mexico and the class wants to know if you are serious about taking orders for specific movies. It seems like the class wants Madagascar 2. We miss you and have enjoyed reading about your viaje fabuloso.
Hola Sra. Koch! Somos A7/8. We love you and miss you!!!!!! :} Tenemos preguntas para Ud. 1) Xiomena wants to ask if the people are nice. Do they say please, thank you, excuse me, etc. Are the venders very nice? 2) The kids are fascinated by the pirated DVD story. They are asking for 300 (its a movie) if possible.

HOla..... this is in response to your comments! Isn't blogging so cool? I have a huge smile on my face right now just thinking about all of you!
First of all... Brasilia... hay que ver algo "suave" despues de todas las peliculas traumaticas!!!
Xiomena...Of course people are nice here! You know the old saying, if someone is nice to you, you'll be nice to them! It goes that way here too. Have you not been listening to me for the last two years? Latina culture is EXTREMELY polite! That's why I make you greet who ever is comes to the door each time!
Fabio... Not sure about the legal vs. illegal this with the DVD's. But, everyone seems to be buying them and there are numerous shops and mercado stalls selling them and those military guys with the big machine guns aren't doing anything about it! The question is, can I get your DVD's and if I can, can I get them back across the border! I will be going to the big mercado tomorrow and search for "300" (if it turns out to be appropriate - what's it rated?) and we've already bought Madagascar 2, so I'll bring it in to watch in SPANISH with all of you when I return! Les extrano mucho.... (Miss you much) Sra. Koch
